KINETIC TEXT

Kinetic Text counts words and displays them according to their frequency, ignoring common words such as 'the'.

The most repeated words are given prominence in the animation.

Unlike Wordle, which works on the same principle but produces a static 'photograph', Kitnetic Text sees the text as a dynamic, moving thing. The animation effectively produces a video!

Click here to see a demo of Kinetic Text using AQA text input.

Points to note:
  1. The text and the image selection comes from the AQA website.
  2. I have added a few extra references to AQA and the family to boost the frequency artificially.
  3. The colours are arbritary and can be altered as wished.
  4. Sound is optional - here it is music, but it could just as well be a spoken commentary.
  5. The display can be set to loop continuously.
  6. The source text can be set to scroll across the bottom of the screen

Hope you like this effect!

It could be used for display in a foyer, projected behind an AQA speaker before the start of a presentation, used as a screen-saver, or placed on a webpage.
